"The annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., which usually attracts more than 100,000 each year, will take place only virtually because of pandemic. The Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling imposed an extreme abortion regime that has contributed to the polarization that has divided us as a nation and further wounded our society by ending over 61 million lives. Disregard for the unborn has poisoned political discourse and coarsened our mutual respect. Abortion is far from being “settled law”; it will still unsettle the conscience of America until all life is respected from conception till natural death." --Archbishop Thomas Wenski, 1.22.2021
While we can't make our usual trip to Washington, D.C. for the annual March for Life this year, don't let that stop you from your public witness in support of LIFE.
Join us in the Archdiocese of Miami as we gather for LIVE, virtual events to commemorate the anniversary of Roe v. Wade with prayer, fasting, reflection, and ideas for you to do on your own or with a group locally.
Did you know that in July, 2020 Archbishop Wenski launched an adaptation of the USCCB's Walking with Moms: A Year of Service parish initiative here in the Archdiocese of Miami? It ends with the National Congreso Pro Vida which he's hosting in Miami on October 29-31, 2021.
