“If anyone would serve me, let him follow me; where I am, there will
my servant be, if anyone serves me, him the Father will honor.”
Here you will find our Parish Representative Manual, Project Rachel Flyers that (with your Pastor's approval) you can put in the restrooms at your Parish, and Bulletin inserts.
The Respect Life Ministry, in faithfulness to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, exists to uphold the sanctity and dignity of all human life from conception to natural death.
•Pastoral Care: addressing the needs of women facing unplanned pregnancies, those seeking healing after abortion, and men and women struggling to understand the critical moral issues related to life. We evangelize through our example of love and service to the Truth.
•Education and Information: on the current day threats to the sanctity of all human life - including but not limited to - abortion, infanticide, artificial contraception, embryonic stem cell research, in-vitro fertilization, euthanasia, assisted suicide, and the death penalty.
•Public Policy: working towards legal protection of the fundamental right to life wherever legislation threatens to erode our Judeo-Christian values. A threat to the life of some people is a threat to all, born or unborn.
•Prayer and Worship: “Only with prayer will the culture of death that surrounds us today be replaced with a culture of life.
Christ Our Hope: In Every Season of Life
The annual Respect Life Program is a year-round, nationwide effort to help Catholics understand, value, and become engaged with building a culture that cherishes every human life.
Although sponsored by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Respect Life Program is essentially comprised of the efforts of leaders throughout the Church like you—parish priests, staff, and volunteers; teachers and school administrators; diocesan leaders; and so many others.
The U.S. bishops produce these materials to assist you in your efforts. Instead of acting as stand-alone resources, they are designed to be brought to life as tools in your hands—build off or adapt them to fit your specific needs!
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
